| Well, I know this happened a long time ago (April 1st to be exact), but I thought I'd finally say something to mark the occasion. I know I haven't been washing you too much lately, and I bet you're grumpy because you're on the street a lot these days (I promise, I'll get you a car cover soon!) since I moved. But, I still love you. You are still beautiful. We're at over 65k miles these days - which is a lot. :( I think that'll slow down now that we're not commuting any more. Let's go looking for canyons in our new home sometime soon, ok? I miss having fun with you! I should take some more pictures of your sweetness. <3

| ooooh. my car is so shiny and smooth. I clay barred it today. Too bad it's too dark to take pics. :P Also, I got some cool little track stickers from trackgraphic.com and put them on my back window. Woot! :)

| It hasn't been such a great last few months for my poor car. I guess all my good car luck is gone - I have been pulled over twice - once for a fix-it ticket for no front plate (in my own damn neighborhood, by the bike cops no less!!!), and once in Malibu (25 over in a safety corridor > $300). And then, about a month ago, I went to K-Town after being out with some friends in Hollywood to go to Hodori and during the hour that I was in the restaurant someone thought it would be a great idea to break into my car (that was parked about 1.5 blocks away on the street - there wasn't any parking lot parking) and clean out all the non-valuable stuff that was inside of it. As a sort of final insult, they didn't even take the Coach sunglasses case that was obviously sitting in the front dash tray. Getting a new window cost me $400. Sigh. I really didn't need these kinds of financial hardship right now. I just finally put my side mirror back on today. My car needs washing too - it's so filthy, and I'm still finding glass everywhere inside...

| Oh yeah. One thing did happen. My car now sports this license plate:
I only wish they'd been able to put a space between the S and the T, but there weren't enough characters. I asked for a half-space but.. oh well. One of the elisetalk members thinks it's hilarious, and tried (but failed) to find strudel for me before our last monthly poker game.
Most people seem to get it though. Two weeks ago I was driving with the top down and a guy drove up next to me and yelled "I LOVE your license plate, man, that is SO AWESOME". Yay! I <3 it too. (or maybe he just loves strudel?)
After all, my car is Trouble, and I love her! I <3 Trouble!
At the risk of cursing myself I will also list the following statistics: years of driving: 12 tickets: 0 times pulled over: 0 accidents: 4 (all minor)
I'm so paranoid about getting a ticket - all the time!!! I know it's gonna happen soon..... *eeeek!*
